Is your email inbox filled with junk emails, SPAM and crap? Well you are not alone and it does not appear to be going away anytime soon. You see the Federal Trade Commissions; FTC's war on SPAM is killing small businesses and flooding their inboxes with junk mail. This is causing issues with their ability to maintain productivity.

The Federal Trade Commission has once again admitted to incompetence, this time on their so called and previously purported; Aggressive Attack on SPAM. In a recent report to the United States Congress from the FTCs Consumer Protection Division "Effectiveness and Enforcement of the CAN-SPAM Act," the FTC gave numerous excuses to their piss poor performance.

The Department of Justices Federal Trade Commissions Consumer Protection Divisions CAN SPAM Act, Anti-SPAM Group had defrauded the American People say many Anti-SPAM activists. How dare the FTC report to Congress of their dismal performance after their horse and pony show about their clever and aggressive fight on SPAM? Was all that a lie? It appears to be as their report to Congress indicated only a 9% decline in SPAM. Many believe that in itself is a lie, I am in agreement, as I too have been studying SPAM and can tell you that that SPAM is not going down, it has not for me.

If you were waiting for your Christmas Present from your government for all the taxes you pay every year; for all the fees, harassment and fear purported on your Television Set, well you have finally received it. Merry Christmas from the FTC, a decline in SPAM up to 9%; now arent you so proud to know that your government is helping to make SPAM decline by up to but not including the nine percentile? What bunch of crap? Nine percent after how many millions of dollars; after over 60 lawsuits and how much government workers time that we, the American Tax Payer paid for?

If you talk to anyone who uses email, spam is something that is frequently on there mind. How often is it that you open your inbox checking for an email from your mom, and you end up with emails with subjective titles involving animals, and foreign objects.

There are ways to fight back against Spam, and one of the most popular is through the use of a spam filtering service. There is all different types of spam, and surprisingly not all of them involve email. Most spamming involves the advertising or otherwise promotion of a product, however this is not true in some cases.

Will a spam filter help you free up time?

Im not really in favor of spam and I dont like it anymore than the rest of you and Im sure many of you will disagree with me.

However I look at it in the same way I look at TV commercials. If we didnt have them wed have television like they have in Europe, which is pretty sad.

I just dont want the government to get into the act. Let the market place take care of it. Eventually it will sort itself out. For one thing it doesnt work. There are ways to control it with software and by other means.
