There is no such thing as a totally fair MLM. The person at the bottom of the line always misses out. Thats not to say they dont have their place in the web marketing industry, people just need to understand what that place is.

All too often, MLMs are used as the purpose of a program, rather than an added benefit.

Allow me to back-track. Definition first, then application.

Have you ever wondered what the difference is? MLM operators claim they're not operating a pyramid scheme. Matrix and "forced matrix" operators claim that what they have is better than MLM. So what are the differences?

Pyramid Schemes:

A year ago, I began reading about real estate and

residual income. My desire to become an entrepreneur was born. As I read, the term network marketing and its synonym multi-level marketing (MLM) kept popping up. The authors of these buzz words didn't bother explaining or defining them. They assumed that I, their eager reader, knew their meaning.

I asked around, but no one had a clue as to what network marketing was. Thus began my quest to discover what I could about MLM, since its proponents boast that anyone could start a business for as little as a few hundred dollars.

The 1 on 1 presentation should be given by you only once you become familiar with your opportunity and have begun seeing good results. Until this time, you should always have an upline leader with you to assist you and to bring credibility to your opportunity. Your prospect will come to see your business most likely because of YOU. However, your prospect will most likely listen more to someone else who has more credibility and success in the business than you have.

Leadership, Visualization, Goal-setting, blah, blah...

All network marketers have heard that jargon at one time or another. But you know what? It's just that - Jargon.

When you share with your team, the lessons you have learnt while building your business - that's Leadership.

When you imagine that new car or house on the beach, that you're going to buy next year with the income from your business - now that's Visualization.

And when you plan exactly how you're going to go about getting that new car or house - well, that's Goal-setting.

Network marketing or sometimes known as Multi Level Marketing (MLM) is actually a good business. The market for this business is so big and the prospect is good.
One thing that we have to keep in mind is that not all of the MLM company will be successful.

Four things about MLM that we have to know:

Network Marketing Companies abound by the thousands. If you type in network marketing into any of the major search engines, you will get thousands upon thousands of results. A lot of people have joined network-marketing programs and made lots of money from their efforts. Anybody with ambition and energy can probably find a company that suits them and join it and eventually attain financial freedom.

When you select a product, your choice should be based upon your

knowledge of how and to whom you're going to sell. You may have

the greatest bargain in the world, but it will be of no value to

you if you don't know who's going to buy it, or how you are going

to get the word out about it.

Internet marketing has had phenomenal growth and this trend will continue with no signs of abatement in foreseeable future. Individual entrepreneurs and small business organizations will increasingly look for fresh avenues on the Internet. By all indications network marketing will continue to grow providing fresh opportunities for serious marketers.

By helping others to grow their business you ensure growth of your own business. I have seen this theory work even while dealing with competitors. This confirms one of the golden rules - you get what you give to others.

I have been involved in building and running factories to generate profit and credibility - right from constructing foundations for machines and buildings up to the point of developing customers and retaining them. In the process I have had to deal with many agencies - suppliers, customers, consultants, government officials, licensing firms and many others.
